LIBRARY LOVERS' DAY

While some will be celebrating Valentines' Day, 14 February has been re-named Library Lovers' Day! Library Lovers' Day is being celebrated in libraries througout Australia, and has been organised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and Public Libraries Australia (PLA).

The SMSA is hosting a Library Lovers' Morning Tea on Friday 12 February at 10.30am . Please join is in the library for a cup of tea and freshly baked scones or a good old-fashioned Aussie lamington.

The SMSA Library is also inviting members to nominate their favourite literary work about romance or love . It could be a book, a poem, a proverb or even Haiku - just send us your pick (title and reason you've nominated it). Your selections will be displayed in the Library for the Library Lovers' Morning Tea. Visit the Library to submit your recommendation or you can email us at library@sydneymsa.com.au
