The Tom Keneally Centre is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30am to 2:30pm on Level 3 of the Sydney Mechanics' School of Arts building at 280 Pitt Street, Sydney.

Keneally: A Writer's Library was held on 2 August 2011 at Sydney
Mechanics' School of Arts as part of the celebrations for the opening of
the Tom Keneally Centre. Tom delved into the books and memorabilia he has gifted to the SMSA to form the Tom Keneally
Centre, and revealed how his reading of fiction and non-fiction, for
research and for pleasure, enriches his writing and helps him write his
own books.
World-renowned author Tom Keneally has donated his collection of over 2500 books and memorabilia to the Sydney Mechanics' School of Arts, forming the Tom Keneally Centre, which was launched Her Excellency, Professor Marie Bashir, AC, CVO, Governor of New South Wales in August.
